Invite codes and join requests explained
When you publish a tournament, Torny generates an invite code. Share it in your society chat, email, or trip PDF. Players open the app, enter the code, and request to join.
As organiser you see pending requests on the players screen. Accept them as new players, or assign someone to a placeholder you created earlier (for example, "Dave, TBC handicap").
Why this matters
You do not need everyone's details on day one. Set up placeholders before the trip, let people claim their spot when they are ready, and keep handicaps accurate with the in-app picker.
